- Additive 8505 accelerates atmospheric epoxy cure rates and shortens dry film formation time with a wide range of application temperatures. In general, dry times can be decreased from 25-40%, depending on the ambient conditions and substrate temperature. With the use of Additive 8505, select Carboguard products intended for atmospheric/non-immersion service will continue to cure at temperatures as low as 35 °F (2 °C); applicators shall be aware its use will also shorten pot life times by 40- 50%.
